Hi there Voyager. So glad to welcome you to BOR. Please come on TS and just listen if that works. You can glean a lot by just listening and it may just get you comfortable in TS. Great wau to get questions answered and get help as well as hook up for in-game content. See you in the game.
Hello, my name is Neil and i am 56 years old and play eso daily. I am permanently disabled. I started gaming playing pinball machines until asteroids came out. I bought a nes when they first came out and enjoyed playing zelda. Bought a playstation and my favorite game was metal gear. Played until ps2 but had a hard time with controllers (arthritis) so kept just on pc. My first mmo game was runescape until my oldest son started me on wow (played about 10 years since vanilla wow). Havent played any elder scrolls games but my son bought eso for my birthday so i can play with him. A lot different than wow. A lot of getting used to how things are done. Still pretty new to the game. My character's name is medievel (@medieval61) and only toon I play. I am on most mornings (est). I dont usually type in chat much so probably will post on this site and use teamspeak when i get it working. Looking forward to meeting new guild members and hope to see you in game soon.

Well Met Rochem and Medievel61.
So very good to have you both join into the fold of the Brotherhood.
We all do look forward to questing and trolling through the realm of Tamriel with you both in the many weeks, months, and years to come as the game goes through its many iterations of added adventures.
We hope that you stay for the long run in its entirety.
So strap in, sit back and enjoy the ride!

Introduction time! My name's Rich, Pinutos the Imperial Dragonknight in game, and Zenimax knows me as nickrud. I've dabbled with many MMOs over the last few years, looking for one that scratches the same itch WoW did - but without the oversaturated, cartoon graphics. I tried ESO back in the beta days (Elder Scrolls MMO!) and was disappointed. A friend told me it had changed much for the better over the years. I'm glad to say that I can't call him a liar. This version mixes my three favorite things in gaming - playing with others, Elder Scrolls lore and lack of suck.
I'm single, 60, currently Director of Operations at a non-profit in Los Angeles where we operate a nationwide hotline for veterans, and an frequent diner at greasy spoon restaurants. Before that I ran transitional housing and work programs for homeless adults up and down the West Coast, and before that I did bench tech electronic instrumentation repair and programming of the first generation of computer driven HVAC building automation systems.
I learned to like greasy spoon restaurants while I was in the Navy, late 70's to early 80's. I've given up the late night bar hopping from those days but have kept my affection for little family run diners. If you ever get down to the Manhattan/Redondo Beach area I'd love to show you one of the fine establishments there.
I've got teamspeak set up but, when I pulled my WoW days headset out of mothballs I quickly discovered that moths, or something, had chewed the dickens out of the ear pieces. While I'm picking out a replacement for them I'll be working on completing as many quests as possible and grokking the crafting system (RESEARCH!?!). Hope to meet you all soon...
Hey everyone! I remember seeing yalls group at Quake-con one year, and since i finally decided to return to the game after a unfortunate launch many moons ago, I wanted to be apart of it. First a little about myself.
I started gaming every since I can remember walking. Playing DnD campaigns with the neighborhood kids to playing mario bros hours on end. It was always my safe and comfortable place that I would seek refuge in. Fast forward to now, I am a 30 year old Firefighter in Lafayette Louisiana. When I am not chasing fires, I like to find myself exploring Tamriel and meeting new adventurers. I have been in the MMO community since the launch of WoW then sunk countless hours into SWTOR before attending a panel at QC one year and was like...Time to give it another chance. I wanted to join the Brotherhood of Redemption for many reasons. I wanted a group of mature, like-minded individuals that I could spend time with in the game. To be a part of something bigger to feel more rewarding adventures in game. Hope to see many of you soon!
Wow..........great to have you DUH! I really look forward to seeing you in game.............we have a fun event that is great for all levels on Monday nights. Fun Run is an exploration event where we pick a zone and run the public dungeon, dolmens and world bosses. Please come join us..........I promise you will gain levels fast.
Hey all! My name is Nicolas (nico or Nick is okay) aka kidchaos59 and my in game name is hotcrossbuns haha my girlfriend named it. I am a 20 year old mechanical engineering major based out reno Nevada. My first video game was Pokemon yellow when I was 4 or 5 and since then I haven't really put them down i got introduced to morrowind first played the hell out of it, then jumped to oblivion, skyrim, and now eso I got the game when it first launched then lost access to my original steam account and now I'm rebuilding. I look forward to getting to meet you all!
New members need to post here, so I'm gonna drop a post real quick.
Name's Blake, but my tag is @WizardNPC, most eso buddies call me Wiz, I don't really have a preference. I've been part of the elder scrolls universe since Morrowind, but I hardly remember much of it or Oblivion. Been on ESO since beta, 3 DC characters at lvl 50, including my main, so I am definitely down to grind out PvP/Emporership with y'all. I am much more of a PvE player, though, I'd say my specialty is dungeons. When it comes do daily routines, I feed my mounts in-game before I feed myself irl. None of my characters are really built by the book builds, I enjoy playing the game and exploring as much content as possible, including gear and skills so I'm constantly changing my characters around to my liking. The 99 fishing in me wants to get master angler ASAP.
As for why I applied, I know some members personally. DC is the best faction, for the Swaggerfall Brovenant since day 1. My other guilds are either going inactive or I don't really participate because I don't know them and I'm going for master angler. Im looking for realiability, a good solid group of members that work well together. I'm mostly on discord being social with my other guilds or occasional irl friends, but social life eso is great so I'll definitely be joining y'all soon teamspeak. Casual world boss runs, emporer rotations, veteran trials, Cyrodiil dolmens, etc. Group activities that I definitely don't enjoy as much by myself or with just some random people in a random guild.
As for other games you might catch my playing if I don't feel like getting around to my ESO to-do list, competitively, I play rocket league, csgo very seldomly (low rank but I love playing and I'm not terrible), and overwatch. SmashBros too, if you have a 3ds or Wii u. I also split mmo time between eso and old-school RuneScape, and my Charmander buddy in Pokemon go has over 200k walked. #Valor
